Julia Mestre

Julia Mestre became known nationally and internationally thanks to Bala Desejo, a highly acclaimed group of regressive modernities in MPB of which she is part. Their debut album, "Sim, Sim, Sim," released in 2022, won a Latin Grammy. Rita Lee has been a strong reference for the Rio de Janeiro singer since the beginning of her career. Back in 2020, Julia participated in the "Versões" program on the Bis channel and brought a full reverence to her versions of the rock queen, without losing Rita Lee's disruptive essence.
