Maninho

Maninho was born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, in 1979. He started early in music. At 8 years old he began studying music theory, with the flute being his first instrument. He soon developed interest in guitar, piano and various wind instruments. Catholic music entered his life when, encouraged by his brother Umberto, who at that time was already a drummer for the Paz e Mel Band, he was invited to participate as an instrumentalist and vocalist in Church events.
